Meet the Attorney
About Chris Villasenor
Chris Villasenor has been a San Diegan since high school and has practiced law here for more than 30 years. He earned his B.A. from the University of California, San Diego and his J.D. from California Western School of Law, and founded Villasenor Law Offices in 2002.
Early in his career, Chris worked on behalf of insurance companies, defending the kinds of claims he now brings for injured clients. Those years taught him how carriers evaluate injuries, how adjusters decide what to offer, and where insurers look for reasons to pay less. Every case the firm takes benefits from that insight: he knows what the other side will do because he used to sit on that side.
Chris is a trial attorney. Insurance companies track which lawyers actually try cases, and settlement offers reflect it. When a fair offer doesn’t come, the firm is prepared to go to trial.

Chris personally chooses every case the firm takes, and each one gets legal oversight from an attorney throughout, supported by experienced paralegals. We built the practice this way because quality representation and quality outcomes come first, and both require a firm small enough for the lawyer to know every case.
